In our video projects for CPAWS, I had the opportunity to contribute to two distinct campaigns: one for the Northern Alberta arm and another for the Southern Alberta arm. While these campaigns were unique and had separate videos, they shared similar content, and my role was instrumental in bringing their messages to life.
Through these combined efforts, both videos successfully communicated the significance of their respective CPAWS campaigns. They shed light on the unique environmental challenges faced in Northern Alberta and Southern Alberta, and how advocacy and policy changes could make a positive impact. By seamlessly integrating filming, editing, color grading, and motion graphics, we delivered visually captivating and informative pieces that engaged and educated viewers on critical matters specific to each region
Filming: For both campaigns, I played a vital role in capturing visually compelling footage. Whether it was the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Alberta or the stunning scenery of Southern Alberta, I carefully selected locations, framed shots, and ensured the footage was of the highest quality.
Editing: The heart of each project lay in the editing process, where I expertly pieced together the footage to create cohesive and engaging narratives. I organized and arranged the content to convey the importance of each campaign's specific message, be it related to the environmental challenges in the north or the south of the province.
Motion Graphics: In addition to footage, I crafted motion graphics for both campaigns to simplify complex information and emphasize key points. These graphics played a crucial role in conveying the message effectively.
